Terry Ede has been a professional musician for most of his working life. Although his main interest lies in Jazz music - his experience extends from early New Orleans style of Traditional Jazz right through to today’s modern sounds - he has worked in most areas of the music industry from Military Music and Symphonic Wind Bands to large dance orchestras - from theatre pit work to Pop and Rock groups.
In recent times, apart from his club and function work, Terry has specialised in playing for events where a smoother and more subtle style of jazz is required for background ambience.
Terry plays tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, clarinet and flute. He lives in Surrey, just south of London and has excellent transport links both road and rail.
Terry is also well known and respected as a teacher of woodwind instruments.
